Inherent Flame-Resistant Performance
TAESAN offers weft-stretch FR fabrics using inherently flame-resistant fibers such as meta-aramid, FR viscose, modacrylic, and other high-performance blends. Because the flame-resistant properties are built into the fibers, protection remains durable through repeated laundering and long-term use.
Stretch and Comfort
TAESAN weft-stretch FR fabrics combine protective fibers with engineered stretch constructions to improve freedom of movement without compromising flame-resistant performance. Stretch can be achieved through elastic fibers, yarn engineering, or mechanical stretch structures, making these fabrics suitable for trousers, jackets, workwear, and other protective garments requiring mobility and comfort.
Versatile Fabric Options
Available in a wide range of weights and constructions, TAESAN weft-stretch FR fabrics can be tailored for different levels of flame resistance, stretch, durability, arc protection, comfort, and cost.
Fiber options include aramid, modacrylic, FR viscose, cotton, nylon, and other specialty fibers, with applications across petrochemical, welding, utility, electrical, manufacturing, and maintenance environments.
Arc Protection
Selected constructions incorporate aramid and other high-performance fibers to provide enhanced protection against electric arc thermal hazards.
Depending on composition, weight, and construction, fabrics can be developed and tested for ATPV and/or ELIM performance in accordance with applicable arc protection standards.
Abrasion and Pilling Resistance
Optimized yarn selection, fabric construction, and finishing can improve resistance to abrasion, pilling, and repeated laundering, helping maintain appearance, dimensional stability, and performance over extended use.
Easy Care
Selected fabrics are designed for practical industrial or domestic laundering with controlled shrinkage and good dimensional stability. Care conditions vary by fiber composition and construction and are specified for each product.
